Relief is the building up of surfaces to create textured results in which you can embed small ephemeral objects
Concertina is an accordion book substrate that we will paint on.
Graffiti is a painting style that students will learn about and practice techniques
Stitch is a design element using embroidery
Impasto is painting with thickened paint
Ebru is a water marbling technique
Pouring is a technique used with fluid paint and medium
Finger painting is self explanatory
Pulling and scraping techniques will be studied using squeegees and trowels
Splattering and dripping techniques will be studied using water and mediums
Making paper fabric is a new technique using paint, polymer and fabric!
