Do you have a creative side you feel you need to express in more ways than one? Mixed media is per- fect for you, as you will use multiple mediums to create expressive art! You will explore the mixing of mediums by using paint, collage paper, spray paint, stencils, stamps, markers, pastels, and more!
Colleen supplies everything you need to create—paint, paper, transfers, collage fragments, mediums, tools, spray paint, pastels, acrylic markers, graphite sticks and more! All you need is a sense of playfulness—and there is no prior experience required! If you wish to bring your own paints, paper, gadgets, please feel free.
Not only will you ignite your creative soul but you will be exposed to the elements and principles of art and design. Each class starts with a lesson and demo! Colleen holds an MFA in painting from the Academy of Art in San Francisco and has a design degree from Parsons in Los Angeles.
The focus is on loosening up, tuning into intuition, releasing expectations, and welcoming joyful authentic ex- pression back into your creative process and your daily life.You will experiment with wild abandon with mixed media materials that are outside the box!
